Northshore slips by West St. Mary

BALDWIN — Northshore High School went on a 27-11 third quarter spurt to earn a 64-40 win over the West St. Mary Wolfpack here Monday at the WSMHS Gym.

Northshore opened the game with a 15-12 run in the first quarter before the Wolfpack benefited from a 9-5 second quarter cushion, rolling to a 21-20 lead at the half. Northshore extended rallied for a 48-31 advantage at the end of the third quarter before coasting to the 64-40 victory following a 17-8 run in the final period.

Glenn Marsh led the Wolfpack with 13 points on five field goals, including one trey, along with 2 of 6 free throws. De’Andre Gabriel also scored in double figures, tossing in 10 points.

Rounding out the scoring for the Wolfpack were: Jerald Hawkins, 6; Adonis Sterling, 8; Theron Jack, 2; David Robinson, 2 and Dai Juan Stewart, 1.

West St. Mary (2-2) will play Thursday at 7:30 versus the winner of the Teurlings Catholic-Menard game in the Tuerlings Tournament.
