Odette “Dess” Verdun-Williams, 89, a native of Verdunville and resident of Patterson, died Saturday, October 13, 2012, at 6 a.m., at Patterson Healthcare.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Verdunville, from 9 a.m. until funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.

“Dess” leaves to cherish her memories, a sister-in-law, Berdine G. Verdun; two nieces, Elizabeth V. Prevot and Belinda Verdun of Patterson; a nephew, Eric A. Verdun and his wife, Mary, of Patterson; great nephews and niece, Errol D. Prevot, Eric A. Verdun II, all of Patterson, and Chelsea P. Taylor of Gonzales; and a host of relatives and friends.

Odette was preceded in death by her parents, Adolph and Elnora Verdun; her husband, Antoine Williams; her infant son, Alfonse Williams; a sister, Rose Verdun; and a brother Adam G. Verdun.
