NEW ORLEANS - Rick Santorum picked up 10 of Louisiana's 20 delegates in Saturday's presidential primary, remaining far behind Mitt Romney in the nomination bid.

Santorum heads on to Wisconsin, the next primary state, trailing the former Massachusetts governor by a wide margin.

Santorum is is doing well in southern states, but there don't appear to be enough of them to counter Romney's broader appeal in more diverse electoral areas.

Meanwhile, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and Congressman Ron Paul remain on the trail, despite weakening results at the ballot box.
