The free camp, available to youngsters ages 7-12, will be held from 9 a.m. to noon.
Instruction in football fundamentals will be provided by the Class 3A state runner-up Lumberjacks as well as college football standouts from Louisiana State University, Louisiana Tech, Central Arkansas, McNeese State, University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Southern University, Nicholls State and several others.
All campers should bring cleats, and all participants will receive a T-shirt.
An entry form for the event is available at the bottom of page 7 of today’s paper and will be published periodically in the coming weeks.
