Parole officer allegedly had sex with clients

VILLE PLATTE – State Police have arrested a probation and parole officer for allegedly engaging in sexual conduct with females while on the job.

Detectives from the Lake Charles Field Office received a complaint saying Christopher Drago, 41, of Ville Platte was engaging in sexual conduct with females he supervised while working as a probation officer with the Louisiana Division of Probation and Parole.

Troopers began an investigation with the Allen Parish's Sheriff's Office and the Louisiana Division of Probation and Parole.

State Police alleged the investigation revealed that Drago engaged in sexual conduct with females he supervised in Allen Parish on several occasions.

Drago was arrested in Ville Platte for malfeasance in office; sexual conduct prohibited.

He was booked into the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office and was then transferred and booked into the Allen Parish Jail. Bond was set at $2,500.00.

If convicted, Drago faces up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
