The parade’s grand marshal is Pamela Washington, city clerk and a 42-year city employee. The parade’s first lieutenant is Dave Lowery, who has been city manager since 1976. The parade’s second lieutenant is Niki P. Fryou, Hattie Watts Elementary principal, and the parade’s deputy is Isaac White, an aspiring singer and actor.
If weather permits, a Christmas Community Festival will follow the parade from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. There will be games, pictures with Santa Claus and food.
