—A male juvenile, 16, was arrested at 3:14 p.m. Monday at Patterson High School for obscenity. A deputy responded to a complaint of a student exposing himself to classmates. A school administrator alleges that the juvenile repeatedly exposed his private parts to other students in class. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.
—Jackie Davion Graham, 30, of Wilson Road, Kentwood, was arrested at 11:36 p.m. Friday on U.S. 90 East in Calumet for driving while intoxicated, improper lane usage, driving under suspension, possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She registered a .093g on the Intoxilyzer 5000, the report stated. During a search of the vehicle an open container of alcohol and a straw containing a white powdery substance was located, the report stated. She was jailed with no bail set.
—Walter Oneal Carter, 41, of Ewell Street, Belle Rose, was arrested at 4:52 p.m. Saturday at the Amelia Belle Casino in Amelia on warrants for theft and issuing worthless checks. Carter was observed on video surveillance footage taking another patron’s wallet from the casino, the report stated. Carter was released on a summons to appear in court in January.
—Ricky Hamilton, 25, of Comeaux Drive, Patterson, was arrested at 2:13 a.m. Sunday on a warrant for probation violation. A deputy patrolling the Franklin area observed a vehicle that appeared to have a flat tire parked on the roadside. The deputy stopped to assist the motorist. During the stop the deputy learned that the driver, Hamilton, was wanted on the warrant. He remains jailed with bail set at $5,000.
—Armando Perez, 28, of Barrow Street, Amelia, was arrested at 12:58 p.m. Sunday for failure to stop at a stop sign and operating a vehicle without lawful presence in the United States. A deputy patrolling the Amelia area observed a vehicle drive through a stop sign on South Frontage Road near the La. 182 bridge. He remains jailed with bail not set.
—Clarence Smith, 61, of Myra Street, Franklin, was arrested at 5:57 p.m. Monday at the Walmart in Bayou Vista for domestic abuse battery. The alleged abuse took place inside the store. Smith is alleged to have struck the female victim multiple times. He remains jailed with bail not set.
—Earlissa Triggs, 25, of Chetta Lane, Morgan City, was arrested at her residence at 10:24 p.m. Monday on warrants for failure to appear for drug court on the charge of possession of cocaine and failure to appear on charges of issuing worthless checks. Triggs remains jailed with bail not set.
The Berwick Police Department reported the following arrests over the weekend and today, according to Chief James Richard:
—Roberto Jacobo Maganda, 24, of Beadle Street, Amelia, was arrested at 7:03 a.m. Saturday for driving while intoxicated first offense and improper lane usage. Maganda was observed running several stop signs, and the officer followed him to the Domino’s Pizza in Morgan City where he was arrested, the report stated. He remains jailed awaiting bond.
—Russell Junior Walker, 28, of Trevino Street, Berwick, was arrested at 9:44 a.m. Sunday on La. 182 for driving under suspension and speeding. He was released on a $1,250 bail.
—April Lynn Aucoin, 32, Cremo Lane, Patterson, was arrested 12:47 a.m. today at the Oregon Street boat landing on outstanding warrants from St. Martin Parish for failure to appear for speeding, driving under suspension, no child restraint and reckless operation of a vehicle. She remains jailed awaiting extradition to St. Martin Parish.
The Morgan City Police Department reported the following arrests, according to Assistant Chief Glenn Blanco:
—Jeremy Lacarte, 22, of Fifth Avenue, Lake Charles, was arrested at 11:45 a.m. Monday on a warrant for probation violation and on a warrant for failure to pay fine. He was located at the Lafayette Parish Corrections Facility. He was extradited to Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and jailed with a $1,157 bail.
—Joshua Clements, 21, of Myles Standish Road, Carver, Mass., was arrested at 6:02 a.m. Oct. 2 on Keith Street for theft. He is alleged to have taken a company check from his place of employment and attempted to cash it. The employees of the store recognized the company name on the account and contacted the company to learn if Clements had authorization to cash the check. Clements was arrested when he returned to his residence on Keith Street. He was jailed with a $443 bail.
—John Pierce, 37, of Third Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 7:50 p.m. Thursday for disturbing the peace. He remains jailed with a $242 bail.
Three people were arrested near the end of last week in connection with a Sept. 29 burglary in Pierre Part, according to Sheriff Mike Waguespack of the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office:
—Jarvis Alleman, 17, of Verrett Street, Pierre Part, was arrested for simple burglary of a garage structure and simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling.
—Trevis Ray, 17, of Donna Street, Pierre Part, was arrested for simple burglary of a garage structure and simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling.
—Joshua Kinkle, 18, of Heriad Street, Plattenville, was arrested for obstruction of justice.
When deputies arrived at a house in Landry Subdivision, they found the front door had been forced opened and inside the residence was in disarray. Collectible gold coins and several alcoholic beverages were stolen.
