—Elsa E. Romo, 56, of Jupiter Street in Bayou Vista, was arrested at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday on a warrant for theft. A deputy located Romo at her residence on the warrant. The warrant stems from the deputy’s investigation of a theft of a jacket and other items from the Amelia Belle Casino which began earlier in the day. Romo was released on a summons to appear in court on April 17.
—Michael Paul Crouch, of Cedar Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday on a warrant for possession of Oxycodone and on a warrant from Patterson police for criminal trespassing and aggravated battery with medical attention. A deputy made contact with Crouch on Victor II Boulevard in Morgan City and learned of the warrant for his arrest. He was taken to the parish jail and held. No bail is set.
—Ryan R. Kinnerson, 25, of West Park Avenue in Opelousas, was arrested at 3:02 a.m. today for driving while intoxicated, improper lane usage, and open alcoholic container in a motor vehicle. A deputy conducted a traffic stop on La. 182 near the Greenwood overpass. Upon speaking with the driver of the vehicle, identified as Kinnerson, the deputy observed the odor of alcohol emanating from his breath. During the investigation, the deputy received consent to search the vehicle and located an open beer bottle, the report stated. Kinnerson performed poorly on the field sobriety test and later failed to submit a sample for the breath test. Kinnerson was taken to the parish jail and held. No bail is set.
—Silerio Morales, 20, of Lake Palourde Road in Amelia, was arrested at 10:18 a.m. Sunday for an expired motor vehicle sticker, operating a motor vehicle without lawful presence in the United States, and possession of an open alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle. A deputy observed a vehicle with an expired inspection sticker and conducted a traffic stop on U.S. 90 in Amelia. During the investigation, the driver, identified as Morales, failed to produce a valid driver’s license. The deputy also observed an open container of alcohol in the vehicle. Morales was taken to the parish jail and held. No bail has been set.
—Jerry T. Gaskins, 56, of Chirpy’s Lane in Amelia, was arrested at 7:43 a.m. Sunday on a warrant for simple battery. A deputy patrolling the Amelia area observed a vehicle fail to signal a turn and conducted a traffic stop. During the investigation, the deputy learned that Gaskins, the driver, was wanted on a warrant. Gaskins was taken to the parish jail and held. He was released on $500 bail.
—Nickolas Morris III, 24, of Russo Street in Berwick, was arrested at 9:48 p.m. Sunday for simple criminal damage to property and disturbing the peace intoxicated. A deputy responded to a complaint of a disturbance at a residence on Vista Village Lane in Bayou Vista. During the investigation, the deputy learned that Morris had been drinking and was involved in a verbal altercation with another subject when he struck the windshield of a vehicle, shattering it. Morris was taken to the parish jail and held. He was released on a $1,250 bail.
—Robert Lancelin Jr., 49, of Lancelin Street in Baldwin, was arrested at 5:47 p.m. Monday for disturbing the peace intoxicated. A deputy responded to a complaint of a subject refusing to leave at the Amelia Belle Casino in Amelia. Upon arrival the deputy made contact with Lancelin and observed the odor of alcohol on his breath, the report stated. During the investigation the deputy learned that Lancelin was harassing casino employees and refused to leave. Lancelin was taken to the parish jail and held. He was released on a $250 bail.
—Bryce Tabor, 17, of Hendricks Street in Patterson, was arrested at 9:52 a.m. Tuesday for simple criminal damage to property. A deputy responded to a complaint that several mailboxes had been damaged on Hendricks Street during the night. The deputy investigating the complaint received information from multiple witnesses identifying Tabor as the culprit. Tabor was observed punching mailboxes along the street, the report stated. A total of eight mailboxes have been reported damaged. Tabor was taken to the parish jail and held. He was released on a $1,000 bail.

—Anthony Hebert, 35, of Sixth Street in Berwick, was arrested Saturday at 9:18 p.m. on a warrant for disturbing the peace by fighting. He was released on a $150 bail.
—Victor Hernandez Pineda, 26, of Lakeview Drive in Morgan City, was arrested Sunday at 9:13 p.m. for possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, operating a vehicle without lawful presence in the United States, speeding 70 mph in a 45 mph zone, and an open alcohol container. He is still in jail with no bail set.
—Bernadette Acosta, 59, of Parro Lane in Berwick, was arrested at 10:15 p.m. Sunday for DWI first offense. She posted bail and was released.
