St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:

—Roselyn Marie Collins, 20, of Watson Lane in Patterson, was arrested Monday on warrants from Morgan City Police for failure to appear on the charges of contempt of court, simple assault, and disturbing the peace intoxicated. A deputy located Collins at her residence on the warrant. Collins was taken to the parish jail and held. She was then taken to another jurisdiction.

Morgan City Police Chief Travis Crouch reported the following arrests:

—Roselyn Marie Collins, 20, of Watson Lane in Patterson, was arrested at 9:08 a.m. Monday on warrants for failure to appear on a charge for simple assault, disturbing the peace and contempt of court.

Collins was located at the Law Enforcement Center in Centerville where she was taken and booked on the warrants. Collins was later released after posting a cash bail of $1,000.

—Anthony J. Harris, 17, of Arizona Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 12:40 a.m. Tuesday for possession of a Schedule I controlled dangerous substance (marijuana).

Officers were patrolling in the area of Sixth Street in the early morning hours when an officer observed a male acting suspiciously near a residence. An officer detained Harris for further investigation and Harris was identified. He was also found to be in possession of what was believed to be marijuana, the report stated. Harris was taken to jail and held.

—Jonathan Franklin, 25, of Garber Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 4:35 p.m. Saturday for second degree battery. Franklin was taken to jail and is awaiting a court appearance on unrelated charges. Franklin attacked another inmate inside his cell causing injuries, which were severe enough for medical treatment, the report stated. Franklin was removed from the cell and booked on additional charges of second degree battery. Police are withholding the victim’s name at this time.

—Robert Joseph Gussman, 40, of Bush Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 12:32 p.m. Sunday on a warrant for disturbing the peace by fighting. An officer observed Gussman walking on Bush Street and arrested him on the warrant. He was taken to jail and released on bail.

Berwick Police James Richard reported the following arrests:

—Daniel Vandusen, 47, of Bardstown, Ky., was arrested at 2:46 p.m. Monday for disturbing the peace second offense and resisting an officer. He was taken to jail and held with bail set at $460.
