Bourque was indicted in December of 2011 on one count of possession of child pornography and three counts of receiving child pornography.
According to court documents filed today, Bourque admitted to downloading child pornography images off of the internet.
Pursuant to a search warrant at the defendant’s residence, approximately 630 child pornography images were recovered, many of the images containing hard core, prepubescent child pornography.The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Lafayette Resident Agency, and the Louisiana State Police.
The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney James T. McManus.
