St. Mary Parish Water and Sewer District 2 has contracted Grey Construction and Gulf South Engineering to replace sewer lines along Arlington Road in Bayou Vista. The work was started approximately one week ago and is a 45-day project with a price tag of $496,000. The purpose for the upgrade is to replace and relocate gravity sewer lines before problems arise.
