St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests from the past 24-hour reporting period:

Jason Ashley, 23, of 121 Calumet Cut Lane, Ricohoc, was arrested Thursday at 7:35 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on a pit bull violation and was additionally charged with theft over $500. No bond was set.

Two 14-year-old female juveniles, were arrested Thursday at 8:18 a.m. at B. Edward Boudreaux Middle School on charges of disturbing the peace by fighting. They were released to guardians pending juvenile court.

Nicholas Morrison, 18, of 803 Park St., Patterson, was arrested Thursday at 10:07 a.m. on charges of unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling and unauthorized use of an access card. He was released on a $5,000 bond.

Patricia E. Rush, 32, of 19143 La. 182, Jeanerette, was arrested Thursday at 11:04 a.m. on warrants charging her with five counts of issuing worthless checks. Rush was released on a $6,750 bond.

Alfred J. Maxie Sr., 60, of 1016½ Eagle St., Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 5:14 p.m. on charges of DWI, careless operation and hit and run. No bond was set.

Multi-jurisdictional Drug Task Force agents reported the arrest of Ashlee Miller, 31, of 1804 Joan Drive, Franklin, Thursday at 12:10 p.m. on charges of second-offense possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and keeping a disorderly place. No bond was set.

Charles R. Mitchell Jr., 31, of 1450 La. 662, Bayou L’Ourse, was arrested Thursday at 7:30 p.m. on charges of possession of methamphetamine and obstruction of justice. No bond was set.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Jess Chauvin Jr., of Cedar Street, Franklin, Thursday at 1:48 p.m. on a New Iberia bench warrant. He was turned over to New Iberia authorities.

Kedesha Scott, 17, of Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 3:22 p.m. on a charge of theft. She was held on a $1,000 bond.

Trinity Weber, 27, of Kerry Lane, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 8:12 p.m. on a warrant charging her with simple criminal damage to property. She was released on a $1,000 bond.
