Eliza Williams, 22, of 712 Louisiana St., Morgan City, was arrested Thursday at 10:14 a.m. on a warrant charging her with issuing worthless checks. She was released on a summons.
Timothy Venable, 43, of 1079 Oak Harbor Drive, Morgan City, was arrested Thursday at 11:57 a.m. on an East Baton Rouge Parish warrant charging him with theft. He turned himself in and was held to await transfer.
Brando J. Halfen, 18, of 5004 Mount St., Berwick, was arrested Thursday at 1:47 p.m. on a charge of shoplifting. He was released on a summons.
William A. Leblanc, 56, of 1404 Canal Road, No. 12, Bayou Vista, was arrested Thursday at 12:56 p.m. on a Morgan City warrant charging him with failure to appear on a charge of shoplifting. He was turned over to Morgan City police.
Shelia Ruffin, 54, of Gibson, was arrested Thursday at 8:25 p.m. on Morgan City warrants charging her with failure to appear and probation violation. She was turned over to Morgan City authorities.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Robert Burrell, 62, of Ninth Street, Franklin, Thursday at 11:23 a.m. on a charge of theft. He was released on a $1,000 bond.
Jonathan Robinson, 31, of Seventh Street, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 11:30 a.m. on charges of theft and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. No bond was set.
