Shereka Sylvester, 31, of 1225 Railroad Avenue, Morgan City, was arrested Tuesday at 2:48 p.m. on warrants charging her with impeding the flow of traffic and driving under suspension and failure to appear on a charge of theft. No bond was set.
Vernon Sigur, 27, of 312 Ellis St., Patterson, was arrested Tuesday at 6:59 p.m. on a charge of loud music. He was released on a summons.
Multi-jurisdictional Drug Task Force members reported the arrest of Merlin M. Venable, 47, of 1064 Lake Palourde Road, Amelia, Tuesday at 2:15 p.m. on warrants charging him with two counts of distribution of cocaine. No bond was set.
Trent A Madise Jr., 28, of 3115 Rose Lawn, Morgan City, was arrested Tuesday at 4:48 p.m. on a warrant charging him with distribution of cocaine. No bond was set.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Joseph Darby Sr., 30, of Second Street, Franklin, Tuesday at 7:26 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear. He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and held on $5,417 bond.
Roman Baker, 35, of Iberia Street, Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 2:32 p.m. on a warrant charging him with theft. He was held on a $1,000 bond.
