St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests from the past 24-hour reporting period:

Rickey Romero, 59, of 370 Hunting Road, Ricohoc, was arrested Thursday at 9:25 a.m. on a warrant charging him with simple assault. He was released on a $250 bond.

Thomas Edward Steely Jr. of 1428 Front St., Morgan City, was arrested Thursday at 5:31 p.m. on a warrant issued by Assumption Parish on a charge of felony theft. Bond had not been set as of this morning.

Daniquia Nicole Polidore, 19, of 612 St. John St., Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 7:55 p.m. on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of theft under $500. Bond was set at $1,500.

Luke Wayne Dietz, 49, of Kaplan was arrested Thursday at 11:39 p.m. in Amelia charges of failure to use turn signals and open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. He was released on a summons

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests:

Brandon J. Garrison, 22, of Maple Street, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 5:17 p.m. on a charge of domestic battery. Bond had not been set as of this morning.

Brandon Latigue, 31, of Bayou View Drive, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 11:19 p.m. on a vehicle headlight violation and a warrant for failure to appear in Thibodaux City Court on a traffic violation. He was released with bonds set at $750.
