Donald Lee Landry, 48, of 153 Glen & Becky Lane, Jeanerette, was arrested Friday at 6:56 p.m. on a charge of leash law violation. He was released on a summons.
Davida Bias, 28, of 1140 Grace St., Morgan City, was arrested Saturday at 4:15 a.m. on a warrant charging her with issuing worthless checks and an Iberia Parish warrant charging her with failure to appear on a charge of speeding. She was held on $1,000 bond.
Luis Alberto Juarez Rodriguez, 21, of 9019 William St., Morgan City, was arrested Saturday at 9:03 a.m. on charges of no driver’s license and operating a vehicle without a lawful presence in the country. No bond was set.
Phillip Andre Wilson Jr., 23, of Lafayette, was arrested Saturday at 4:09 a.m. on a charge of possession of marijuana. Also arrested was Cameron Alexander, 18, Breaux Bridge, on a charge of possession of marijuana. Both were arrested after a traffic stop. Bonds were set at $2,000 bond.
Mario Alberto Alviar, 39, of 177 Duval Lane, Amelia, was arrested Saturday at 8:26 p.m. on charges of stop sign violation, no proof of insurance and operating a vehicle without a legal presence in the country. No bond was set.
Jaye Bliss, 23, of Hotard Trailer Park, Lot 31, Railroad Avenue, Berwick, was arrested Saturday at 9:01 a.m. on warrants charging him with failure to appear for probation review hearings, failure to pay a fine and failure to pay probation fees. He was also charged on Morgan City and state warrants for probation violation. No bond was set.
Jeremy James Foney, 29, of Lake Charles, was arrested Sunday at 12:20 a.m. on charges of careless operation and DWI. No bond was set.
Ernesto Federico Vera, 26, of New Iberia, was arrested Sunday at 11:27 a.m. on charges of speeding, operating a vehicle without a legal presence in the country and possession of fraudulent documents. No bond was set.
Jermaine Montel Williams Sr., no age give, of 702 Scotty St., Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 11:50 a.m. on five warrants charging him with failure to appear on charges of criminal neglect of family. He was held on $28,923 bond.
Thelma Patrice Davis, 31, of Lafayette, was arrested Sunday at 8:12 p.m. on an Iberia Parish warrant charging her with felony theft and a Lafayette warrant charging her with traffic violation. She was held on $5,750 bond.
The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division reported the arrest of Christopher V. Smith, 37, of 1201 James St., Siracusaville, Friday at 12:54 p.m. on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, violation of a drug free zone, obstruction of justice, possession of drug paraphernalia, transactions involving drug proceeds, possession of a Schedule III narcotic, possession of a legend drug and resisting by flight. No bond was set.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Bernard Charles, 43, of Martin Luther King Blvd., Franklin, Friday at 8:55 a.m. on warrants charging him with hit and run and simple criminal damage to property. He was released on $2,000 bond.
Breasha N. McDaniel, 18, of Third Street, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 1:34 p.m. on a warrant charging her with obstruction of a public passage. She was released on $1,000 bond.
Ernel Reed, 34, of Talbot Street, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 2:28 a.m. on warrants charging him with simple battery, damage to property and failure to appear on traffic charges. He was held on $1,680 bond.
