St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests from the past 24-hour reporting period:

Bernard Colbert, 28, of 1037 Martin Luther King Blvd., Baldwin, was arrested Monday at 9:16 a.m. on warrants for failure to appear on charges of simple burglary and a probation violation. Bond had not been set as of this morning.

Tajh Guilbeau, 21, of 237 Easy St., Franklin was arrested Monday at 2:02 p.m. on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of issuing worthless checks. Guilbeau was released on a $3,500 bond.

Dale A. Duke, 52, of 132 Pine St., Morgan City was arrested Monday at 2:08 p.m. on warrants charging him with issuing worthless checks and failure to appear on charges of criminal neglect of family, no insurance, no driver’s license and expired inspection sticker. Bond was set at $6,959.85.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests:

Robert Paul Breaux Jr., 28, of Sterling Road, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 6:39 p.m. on charges of simple battery and aggravated assault. Bond was set at $1,500.

Dennard Antoine Casteal, 30, of Iberia Street, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 7:49 p.m. on a warrant issued by the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office, charging him with failure to appear on a traffic charge. He was turned over to Lafayette authorities.

Chitimacha Police Blaise Smith reported the arrest of Agnes Talbot, 42, of Franklin today at 12:50 a.m. on charges of expired driver’s license and six counts of issuing worthless check warrants from Iberia Parish. Bond had not been set as of this morning.
