St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests from the past 24-hour reporting period:

Arrested Tuesday on warrants in connection with a home invasion were Silvestre Sustaita-Molina, 32, of 813 Cypress St., Amelia, charged with home invasion and second degree battery; Sebastian Sustaita, 31, of 211 Westside Lane, Amelia, charged with home invasion, second-degree aggravated battery and failure to appear on a charge of driving under suspension; Juan Sustaita-Molita, 25, of 211 West Side Lane, Amelia, charged with home invasion and second degree battery. No bonds were set.

The sheriff’s department reported that on Nov. 13 the suspects knocked on the door of a victim’s residence in Amelia. When the victim opened the door, four males entered and committed a battery on the victim with bottles.

In unrelated activity, Danyelle Green, 32, of 111 Firmin St., Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 10:14 a.m. on warrants charging her with simple battery and trespassing. She turned herself in and was released on a summons.

Mar’keisha Hamilton, 17, of 109 Francis Lane, Patterson, and a male juvenile, 12, of Franklin, were arrested Tuesday at 5:46 p.m. on charges of shoplifting. Hamilton was also charged with resisting by giving false information and held on a $2,000 bond. The juvenile was released to guardians pending juvenile court.

Multi-jurisdictional Drug Task Force members reported the arrests of Wilbert Guy, 33, of 2013 Fisco St., Jeanerette, and Lajohnna Guy, 28, of 515 St. Peter St., Lot 2, Jeanerette. Wilbert Guy was charged with distribution of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia; Lajohnna Guy was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and keeping a disorderly place.

Task force agents, Iberia Parish sheriff’s narcotics agents and United States Postal Service inspectors conducted a joint investigation and seized 40 pounds of marijuana allegedly destined by mail for a residence in St. Mary Parish.

During the investigation, the alleged cocaine and paraphernalia were seized at the 515 St. Peter St. residence.

Both are jailed in Iberia Parish with no bonds set.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of T.J. Williams, 43, of St. Joseph Lane, Franklin, Tuesday at 8:34 p.m. on charges of switched license plate, no driver’s license and resisting by giving false information, as well as a Lafayette Parish warrant charging him with failure to appear. He was held on a $1,500 bond.
