St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests from the past 24-hour reporting period:

Ashala Bowie, 24, of 223 Happy Acres, No. 7, Baldwin, was arrested Friday at 11:29 a.m. on a warrant charging her with aggravated battery. She turned herself in and was released on a $5,000 bond.

Michael Hawkins, 52, of 101½ Arkansas St., Morgan City, was arrested Friday at 12:04 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on charges of theft of goods, illegal possession of stolen things and simple criminal trespassing. No bond was set.

Rachel Fabre, 26, of 529 Mike Drive, Patterson, was arrested Friday at 5:11 p.m. on a charge of shoplifting and a failure to appear warrant on charges of speeding, expired inspection and a mirror violation. She was held on a $1,823 bond.

Cristobal Juarez Bertadillo, 30, of 122 Taylor Road, Amelia, was arrested Friday at 6:46 p.m. on charges of speeding and operating a vehicle without a lawful presence in the United States. No bond was set.

Benjamin P. Picard, 18, of 332 Eves St., Jeanerette, was arrested Saturday at 8:56 a.m. on charges of five counts of simple criminal damage to property, vehicle license required, reckless operation, failure to secure registration and no inspection sticker. He was released on a $6,750 bond.

Brent Charles, 30, of 220 Headland St., Morgan City, was arrested Saturday at 7:08 p.m. on charges of driving under suspension and no insurance. He was released on a summons.

Clauderious Darby, 22, of 1019 Grace St., Morgan City, was arrested Sunday at 7:23 a.m. on a charge of domestic battery. No bond was set.

Multi-jurisdictional Drug Task Force agents reported the arrests of Brian Lively, 24, and Lester Edmond, 53, both of 1711 West Ibert St., Franklin, Friday at 2:45 p.m. Lively was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of narcotics in the presence of a juvenile, possession of narcotics in a drug free zone, keeping a disorderly place and a warrant charging him with distribution of cocaine. No bond was set. Edmond was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and released on a summons.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Randolph Anthony Joseph, 19, of Martin Luther King Street, Patterson, Friday at 11:43 p.m. on a warrant charging him with illegal possession of a stolen firearm. No bond was set.

Nicholas Roy Bradford, 28, of Thibodaux, was arrested Friday at 6:37 p.m. on a warrant charging him with aggravated assault. He was released on a $1,000 bond.

Avery Demone Perro, 32, of Sixth Street, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 3:59 p.m. on a warrant charging him with domestic battery. He was held with no bond set.

Ranetta Renee Riles, 28, of Branch Street, Baldwin, was arrested Saturday at 6:39 p.m. on a warrant charging her with failure to appear. She was turned over to the sheriff’s department.

Christopher Jones, 26, of Eagle Street, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 8:53 p.m. on warrants charging him with failure to appear and was additionally charged with a tail light violation, no insurance and expired driver’s license. He was held on a $2,358 bond.
