St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests this morning:

Five inmates at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center in Centerville were arrested Thursday at 8:01 a.m. after reportedly attacking another inmate.

Therold James, 28, of 308 Teche Road, Bayou Vista, was charged with aggravated battery. He reportedly repeatedly struck the victim in the head.

Harold Sheets, 29, of 3432 Third St., Berwick; Seth Barnett, of 234 Canton St., Berwick; Shane Stratton, 22, of General Hodges St., No. 10, Morgan City; and Zachery Johnson, 27, of 701 Onstead St., No. 234, Morgan City, were all charged with simple battery.

No bonds were set.

In unrelated activity, Kevin Paul Simon, 45, of La. 182, Patterson, was arrested Thursday at 10:06 a.m. on a warrant charging him with criminal trespassing. He was released on $750 bond.

Timothy Meredith, 39, of 306 Venus Road, Bayou Vista, was arrested Thursday at 5:01 p.m. on charges of simple battery and disturbing the peace.

Also arrested was Paul Annaloro Jr., 42, same address, on charges of simple battery and disturbing the peace.

Both were charged after a reported fight in Bayou Vista and released on $759 bonds.

Ruth Chatagnier, 33, and Michael Chatagnier, 44, both of 264 Cotton Road, Patterson, were arrested Thursday at 11:56 p.m. on charges of domestic abuse battery. No bonds were set.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Carol Lee Bowie, 50, of Dinkins Road, Charenton, Thursday at 8:27 a.m. on a warrant charging her with failure to appear on traffic charges. She was held on $290 bond.

Sarah Weatherford Faust, 29, of Canal Drive, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 9:51 p.m. on charges of possession of Schedule IV narcotics, possession of marijuana and possession of a legend drug without a prescription. No bond was set.
