St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests this morning:

Channing Riley, 30, of 307 Barrow St., Morgan City, was arrested Friday at 1:57 p.m. on warrants charging him with issuing worthless checks, as well as a Terrebonne Parish warrant on the same charge. No bond was set.

Melvin Williams Jr., 40, of 1138 Lee Charles St., Franklin, was arrested Friday at 6:51 p.m. on a charge of aggravated second degree battery. No bond was set.

Chad Toups, 38, of 112 Doris Road, Amelia, was arrested Saturday on charges of theft over $1,500, theft by fraud, resisting an officer by giving false information and a warrant charging him with simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling. He was also charged on a Terrebonne Parish warrant on a charge of theft of a motor vehicle. No bond was set.

Martinez Alvarado, no age given, of 100 Martin Lane, Amelia, was arrested Saturday at 7:48 a.m. on a charge of driving without a lawful presence in the country. No bond was set.

Keisha M. Thomas, 36, of 502 Lawrence St., Morgan City, was arrested Saturday at 11:17 a.m. on a warrant charging her with issuing worthless checks. She was released on a summons.

Julie Ann Campos, 39, of 1326 Belleview St., Bayou Vista, was arrested Saturday at 1:56 p.m. on a charge of theft. She was held on $1,000 bond.

Chase Paul Bertrand, 27, of 512 Joey St., Patterson, was arrested Saturday at 6:25 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on a charge of disturbing the peace. He was held on $350 bond.

Anthony Joseph Prince, 31, of 2909 Patoutville Road, Jeanerette, was arrested Saturday at 7:39 a.m. on charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was released on a summons.

Matthew Paul Villien, 23, of Lafayette, was arrested Saturday at 8:25 p.m. on charges of no license plate, careless operation, second offense possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a legend drug without a prescription. No bond was set.

Timothy Parker, 56, of 1025½ Cayce St., Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 8:36 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on charges of no driver’s license and no child restraint. He was held on $5,000 bond.

Rediance D. Perez, 22, of 101 Three B’s Lane, No. 18, Bayou Vista, was arrested Sunday at 3:19 p.m. on a warrant charging her with theft. No bond was set.

Mckinley Defiles, 54, of 870 La. 318, Jeanerette, and Theron Alexander, 32, of 133 Charles Lane, Jeanerette, were arrested Sunday at 4:48 p.m. on charges of illegal possession of stolen things. Both were charged in the thefts of dirt bikes and were released on $3,500 bonds.

John Morgan Hardy, 48, of 831 Degravelle Road, Morgan City, was arrested Sunday at 3:50 p.m. on a charge of disturbing the peace. He was released on $250 bond.

Martin Contreras, 32, of Irving, Texas, was arrested today at 1:16 a.m. on charges of license plate light violation, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without a lawful presence in the country and unlawful possession of fraudulent documents.

Also arrested were Ricardo Montes, 30, of Farmers Branch, Texas, and Fernando Acosta-Flores, 41, of Irving, Texas, on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

No bond was set on Contreras, and Flores and Montes were held on bonds of $3,500.

The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division reported the arrest of Derwin Adair Vining, 34, of 128 Polaris Road, Bayou Vista, Friday at 1:56 p.m. on charges of third offense possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was held on $11,500 bond.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Conroy D. Webb, 27, of Morris Street, Franklin, Friday at 11:03 a.m. on a charge of loud music, driving under suspension, resisting an officer by giving false information and failure to provide proof of insurance. He was also charged with a failure to appear warrant on a charge of failure to register as a sex offender. He was held on $2,750 bond.

Engwan Joseph, 33, of Scottie Street, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 11:32 a.m. on an Iberia Parish warrant charging her with shoplifting. She was released on $3,500 bond.

Donald Navy Jr., 23, of Third Street, Franklin, was arrested today at 4:24 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on a charge of no driver’s license. He was released on a $210 cash fine.

Chitimacha Police Chief Blaise Smith reported the arrest of Russell Pfotenhauer, 31, of Franklin, Friday at 10:15 p.m. on a charge of domestic abuse battery. No bond was set.

Lory Marie Romero, 50, of New Iberia, was arrested today at 2:10 a.m. on charges of DWI, disturbing the peace intoxicated and a warrant charging her with issuing worthless checks. No bond was set.
