St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests from the past weekend:

John M. James, 33, of 214 Mars St., Apt. 2, Bayou Vista, was arrested Saturday at 3:51 a.m. on a Lafayette Parish warrant charging him with failure to appear on a charge of issuing worthless checks. No bond was set.

William Richardson, 17, of 813 Taft St., Patterson, was arrested Saturday at 10:18 a.m. on charges of simple battery and aggravated assault. He was held on a $1,500 bond.

Michael Aucoin, 52, of 505 Brashear Avenue, Room 216, Morgan City, was arrested Saturday at 9:31 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on a charge of criminal neglect of family. He was held on a $10,202 bond.

Jason Smith, 28, of 204 Penn Road South, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 7:43 a.m. on warrants charging him with failure to appear on charges of issuing worthless checks, domestic battery, resisting an officer by force, no vehicle registration and unsafe vehicle condition. He was also charged with probation violation. No bond was set.

Patrick Giroir, 44, of 1010 Victoria Riverside Drive, Patterson, was arrested Sunday at 9:29 p.m. on charges of domestic battery and aggravated assault. No bond was set.

Reginald T. Martin, 36, of 149 Pickett St., Charenton, was arrested Sunday at 9:42 p.m. on charges of simple burglary, criminal trespassing and simple criminal damage to property. No bond was set.

Multi-jurisdictional Drug Task Force agents reported the arrest of Carley Griffin, 27, of 207 Arizona St., Morgan City, Friday at 12:13 p.m. on warrants charging her with three counts of distribution of cocaine. No bond was set.

Christopher Soto, 23, of 138 Domino St., Patterson, was arrested Friday at 6:58 p.m. on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, obstruction of justice and resisting an officer by flight. No bond was set.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Ernel Reed, 33, of Weber Street, Franklin, Saturday at 4:38 a.m. on warrants charging him with failure to appear. He was released on a $801 bond.

Gary Javon Barto, 34, of Fourth Street, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 7:05 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear. He was released on a $297 bond.

Tetron Kentry Millien, 18, of Baton Rouge, was arrested Saturday at 11:19 p.m. on a charge of possession of marijuana. He was released on a $4,000 bond.

Elton Joseph Holloway, 18, of Baton Rouge, was arrested Saturday at 11:19 p.m. on a charge of possession of marijuana. He was released on a $2,000 bond.

Traven Tramine Tyler, 18, of Paincourtville, was arrested Saturday at 11:19 p.m. on a charge of possession of marijuana. He was released on a $2,000 bond.

Richard Lajaunie, 44, of Main Street, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 3:40 p.m. on charges of remaining where forbidden and disturbing the peace. He was released on a summons.

Lashonta Lumpkin, 20, of Isabella Street, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 9:21 p.m. on a charge of disturbing the peace by fighting. She was held on a $250 bond.

Chitimacha Police Chief Blaise Smith reported the arrest of Chance Gonzales, 30, of Lafayette, Saturday at 2:45 a.m. on charges of simple battery and criminal damage to property. No bond was set.

Gerald Broussard Jr., 40, of Rosharon, Texas and Hendry Wesley, 32, of New Iberia, were charged Sunday at 1:50 a.m. with simple battery. They were released on summonses.

Wardell Hawkins, 25, and Jerrius Hawkins, 30, both of Jeanerette, were arrested in the same incident and charged with intimidation of a police officer and resisting arrest. They were also released on summonses.
