St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests this morning:

Ronald Blanco Jr., 39, of Bayou L’Ourse, was arrested Tuesday at 9:05 a.m. on a warrant charging him with probation violation. No bond was set.

Ian Jernigan, 32, no address given, was arrested Tuesday at 2:37 p.m. on charges of simple obstruction of a railroad and possession of drug paraphernalia. Also arrested were Timothy Elliot, 25, no address given, and Savvas Trafton, 19, of New Orleans, at the same time also on charges of simple obstruction of a railroad.

A deputy responded to a complaint of stowaways on a train stopped on Alice C Road near Franklin. Upon arrival the deputy learned from the conductor that three subjects were observed in one of the train cars. The deputy located two males, Elliot and Jernigan, near the train and a female, Trafton, in the woods next to the train. During the course of the investigation the deputy allegedly located a syringe on Jernigan’s person. The trio was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bonds were set.

The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics division reported the arrests of two persons Tuesday.

Zelina Dapremort, 35, of 127 Manigo St., Baldwin, was arrested Tuesday at 10:58 a.m. on charges of possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of Schedule IV and Schedule III narcotics, possession of legend drugs and transactions involving drug proceeds.

Hilton Jack Sr., 39, of 127 Manigo St., Baldwin, was arrested Tuesday at 10:58 a.m. on charges of possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of Schedule IV and Schedule III narcotics, possession of legend drugs and transactions involving drug proceeds.

Agents executed a search warrant at the address and recovered drugs and $495 in cash. No bonds were set.

Dantrell Garrett, 23, of 300 Main St., Patterson, was arrested Tuesday at 2:19 p.m. on charges of second-offense possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. No bond was set.
