St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests from the past weekend:

Tarao Walker, 26, of 309 Mallard St., Morgan City, was arrested Thursday at 3:51 p.m. on a charge of simple battery. No bond was set.

Marlon Cabellero, 33, of 113 Martin Lane, Amelia, was arrested Friday at 10:20 a.m. on charges of two counts of simple burglary. No bond was set.

George L. Blanchard Jr., 53, of Napoleonville, was arrested Friday at 2:09 p.m. on a charge of hit and run. He was released on a summons.

Lindsay Stantion, 26, of 19710 La. 182, Jeanerette, was arrested Friday at 2:16 p.m. on a charge of simple battery. He was released on $500 bond.

Barry Ewing, 67, of 1219 La. 319, Cypremort Point, was arrested Saturday at 4:08 p.m. on charges of aggravated assault and simple battery.

Also arrested was Joshua Viator, 18, of 110 Twin St., Duscon, on a charge of simple battery. They were charged after a fight at the La. 319 residence. Ewing was released on $1,500 bond and Viator was held on $500 bond.

Reva Shanna Thomas, 22, of 606 Sixth St., Morgan City, was arrested Saturday at 2:11 p.m. on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a minor. No bond was set.

Jeanette Damon, 22, of 1232 Big Four Corners Road, Jeanerette, was arrested Saturday at 8:48 p.m. on a charge of illegal use of a dangerous weapon after reportedly firing a shotgun from her home after seeing someone in a neighbor’s yard. She was released on her own recognizance.

James A. Thurman, 31, of New Orleans, was arrested Sunday at 3 a.m. on charges of DWI, improper lane use and driving under suspension. No bond was set.

Starlene Boutte, 52, of 10933 La. 87, Jeanerette, was arrested Sunday at 7:19 p.m. on charges of illegal use of a weapon and cruelty to animals.

Also arrested was Terry Caudill Jr., 27, of 10909 La. 87, Jeanerette, on charges of simple assault, unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling and leash law violation.

Boutte allegedly shot Caudill’s dog in the leg with a pellet gun after the animal entered her yard and reportedly attempted to fight with her own dog. Caudill reportedly entered Boutte’s residence yelling and making threats. No bonds were set.

Julio Cesar Vega Sanchez, 28, of New Iberia, was arrested Sunday on a charge driving without a legal presence in the country after a vehicle accident. No bond was set.

Dustin A. Thibodeaux, 27, of 116 Nicole Lane, Berwick, was arrested Sunday at 10:32 p.m. on charge of second-offense DWI and following too close. No bond was set.

Tommy Donati II, 30, of 402 Hazel Street, Apt. 1, Morgan City, was arrested today at 1:35 a.m. on a warrant charging him with issuing worthless checks. He was released on a summons.

The St. Mary Parish Narcotics Division reported the arrests of Patrick Boggan, 41, of 197 Yellow Bayou Road, Centerville, and Darren Boggan, 35, same address, on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were charged after a traffic stop and released on summonses.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of La’Shelle Lynnete Carson, 17, of Martin Luther King Boulevard, Franklin, Friday at 1:35 p.m. on a charge of disturbing the peace by fighting. She was released on $250 bond.

Morris Paul Thibeaux, 56, of Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 5:30 p.m. on a charge of disturbing the peace intoxicated. He was held on $250 bond.

Samantha Renee Jones, 28, of Weber Street, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 3:14 p.m. on a charge of remaining where forbidden and an Iberia Parish warrant charging her with failure to pay a fine on theft of goods charges. She was held on a total bond of $1,000.

A female juvenile, age 16, was charged Friday with disturbing the peace by fighting, resisting an officer with force, theft and simple assault on an officer.

Another female, also age 15, was charged Friday with disturbing the peace by fighting.

A 15-year-old male was charged Friday with disturbing the peace by fighting.

All were released to guardians pending juvenile court.
