St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests from the past 24-hour reporting period:

Benjamin Blackman, 21, of 501 Roderick St., Apt. 19, Morgan City, was arrested Thursday at 9:19 a.m. on warrants charging him with failure to appear on charges of angling without a license, speeding and for failure to appear in Houma City Court on a charge of seat belt violation. He was released on a $964 bond.

Janice J. Gray, 50, of 3005 Mark Drive, Morgan City, was arrested Thursday at 12:20 p.m. on a warrant charging her with issuing worthless checks. She was released on a summons.

Bennie Charles, 27, of 700 Sixth St., Morgan City, was arrested Thursday at 6:39 p.m. on warrants charging him with failure to appear on charges of domestic battery, driving under suspension, expired inspection sticker, obedience to an officer, traffic sign violation, no insurance and red light violation. He was held on a $29,500 bond.

Multi-jurisdictional Drug Task Force members reported the arrest of Cheddrick Robertson, 32, of 1105 Lee Charles St., Franklin, Thursday at 11:50 a.m. on a warrant charging him with distribution of cocaine. No bond was set. He had been arrested by Franklin police on charges of possession of cocaine, possession of Schedule III narcotics and resisting an officer with force. No bond was set by Franklin police.

Bradley Kinkle, 17, of Stephensville, was arrested Thursday at 11:50 a.m. on a warrant charging him with distribution of cocaine. No bond was set.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Tyrone Williams Jr., 44, of Trowbridge Street, Franklin, Thursday at 1:48 p.m. on a warrant charging him with remaining where forbidden. He was released on a $500 bond.
