Christopher Glenn Fryar, 29, of 209½ Field St., Bayou Vista, was arrested Wednesday at 8:42 a.m. on warrants charging him with probation violation, failure to appear on charges of careless operation with an accident, driving under suspension and third offense domestic abuse battery. No bond was set.
A juvenile male, age 16, of Verdunville, was arrested Wednesday at 3:03 p.m. on charges of theft and possession of a legend drug without a prescription. He was released to guardians pending juvenile court.
A juvenile male, age 16, of Bayou Vista, was arrested Wednesday at 3:06 p.m. on a charge of unlawful possession of tobacco. He was released to guardians pending juvenile court.
Chitimacha Police Chief Blaise Smith reported the arrest of Marcus J. Frederick, 39, of Jeanerette, Wednesday at 10 p.m. on a charge of possession of marijuana. He was released on a summons.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Jermain A. Peters, 37, of River Road, Morgan City, who was arrested Wednesday at 2:40 p.m. on failure to appear warrants on charges of DWI, no proof of insurance, driver must be licensed, expired license plate and theft by shoplifting. He was released to appear in court.
Rodney N. Bowie, 35, of Cayce Street, Franklin, was arrested today at 3:03 a.m. on charges of driving under suspension and stop sign violation, as well as sheriff’s office warrants charging him with failure to appear on charges of criminal neglect of family and issuing worthless checks. He was held on $1,250 and $20,287 bonds.
