Multi-jurisdictional Drug Task Force agents reported the arrest of McKinley Jordan, 55, of 1029 La. 318, Jeanerette, Thursday, at 3:13 p.m. on charges of open alcohol container, resisting an officer by giving false information, three counts of resisting by force and possession of drug paraphernalia. Chitimacha Police Chief Blaise Smith reported the arrests of Arlean Veney, 24, and Macel Fuselier, 27, both of New Iberia, Wednesday on charges of theft. Veney was also charged with possession of narcotics with intent to distribute. No bonds were set.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Ashalyn Coleman, 18, of Fifth Street, Franklin, Thursday at 3:16 p.m. on a warrant charging her with failure to appear. No bond was set.
