St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests from the past 24-hour reporting period:

MacArthur Bailey, 35, of 1349 Joseph St., Siracusa, was arrested Thursday at 8:45 a.m. on a charge of illegal use of a weapon. No bond was set.

Tracie L. Cassady, 47, of 402 Halsey St., Apt. 9, Morgan City, was arrested Thursday at 1:29 p.m. on a Bay County, Florida warrant charging Cassady with grand theft. No bond was set.

Bannon L. Lightsey, 19, of 320 Camille Drive, Patterson, was arrested today at 12:36 a.m. on a charge of aggravated second-degree battery. No bond was set.

Stephanie M. Daigle, 37, of 1811 J St., Patterson, was arrested today at 1:36 a.m. on a charge of simple battery. She was released on a $500 bond.

Multi-jurisdictional Drug Task Force agents reported the arrest of McKinley Jordan, 55, of 1029 La. 318, Jeanerette, Thursday, at 3:13 p.m. on charges of open alcohol container, resisting an officer by giving false information, three counts of resisting by force and possession of drug paraphernalia. No bond was set.

Chitimacha Police Chief Blaise Smith reported the arrests of Arlean Veney, 24, and Macel Fuselier, 27, both of New Iberia, Wednesday on charges of theft. Veney was also charged with possession of narcotics with intent to distribute. No bonds were set.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Ashalyn Coleman, 18, of Fifth Street, Franklin, Thursday at 3:16 p.m. on a warrant charging her with failure to appear. No bond was set.

Kenneth Turner, 51, of St. Charles Street, Franklin, was arrested today at 3:27 a.m. on a bench warrant. No bond was set.
