St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests this morning.

Deon Turner, 29, of 162 St. Joseph Lane, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 2:22 p.m. on charges of unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling and resisting an officer. No bond was set.

Shelia Roberts, 49, of 541 David Drive, Bayou Vista, was arrested Friday at 5:43 p.m. on a charge of shoplifting. She was released on a summons.

Danny Fulks Jr., 26, of 774 Parish Road 131, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 7:12 p.m. on charges of simple burglary, resisting an officer and criminal trespassing. No bond was set.

Nicole Gassiott, 37, of 7220 La. 182, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 9:28 p.m. on a charge of theft by shoplifting. She was released on a summons.

Ronald J. Eskind, 55, of New Iberia, was arrested Saturday at 3:37 a.m. on a charge of second offense DWI. He was released on $10,000 bond.

Jose Arispe, 41, of Alamo, Texas, was arrested Sunday at 4 a.m. on a charge of second offense possession of marijuana. No bond was set.

Shawn P. Galjour, 35, of 759 Degravelle Road, Amelia, was arrested Sunday at 4:13 a.m. on a charge of disturbing the peace intoxicated. He was held on $250 bond.

Leah M. Sanacore, 35, of 1505 Chestnut Drive, Morgan City, was arrested Sunday at 6:51 a.m. on charges of DWI, failure to dim headlights and following too close. She was released on $1,000 bond.

Michael P. Bergeron, 34, of 126 Natalie Lane, Patterson, was arrested Sunday at 7:02 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear for sentencing. No bond was set.

Multi-jurisdictional Drug Task Force members reported the arrest of four persons after an investigation at the parish jail Friday.

Agents reportedly intercepted a package of contraband as it was being smuggled into the jail. It contained Lortab, Tramadol, methamphetamine, tobacco, a cell phone and rolling papers.

Heidi Songe, 35, of 1009 Third St., Morgan City and Karen Thibodeaux, 44, of 2994 Fourth St., Morgan City, were reportedly attempting to smuggle the contraband into the jail. After executing a search warrant at Songe’s resident agents located marijuana, packaging material and Lortab.

Songe was charged Friday at 2:24 p.m. with entering contraband into a penal facility, distribution of Lortab and Tramadol, distribution of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of a drug free zone. The resident is near Shannon Elementary School.

Thibodeaux was charged Friday at 2:24 p.m. with entering contraband into a penal facility, distribution of Lortab and Tramadol and distribution of methamphetamines.

Also arrested when the search warrant was executed were Morgan Currington, 19, of 243 N. Verret St., Amelia, Friday at 2:24 p.m. on charges of possession of Lortab, possession of narcotics in the presence of a juvenile and violation of a drug free zone.

Cody Thibodeaux, 21, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, was charged Friday at 2:24 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on a simple battery charge.

A juvenile male, age 16, of Morgan City, was also charged with possession of marijuana, violation of a drug free zone and obstruction of justice.

No bonds were set on the adults and the minor was released to guardians pending juvenile court.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Scott Jeral Marshal, 20, of Bayouview Drive, Franklin, Thursday at 1:48 p.m. on a charge of illegal possession of stolen property. He was released on $3,500 bond.

Jonathan Darnell King, 31, of Josephine Street, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 8:44 a.m. on a warrant charging him with theft. No bond was set.
