St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division agents reported the arrest of Max Lamar James Jr., 29, of 530 Orange St., No. 123, Morgan City, Tuesday at 2:10 p.m. on charges of possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of Schedule III and IV narcotics with intent to distribute, three counts of possession of marijuana, possession of a legend drug without a prescription, obstruction of justice, violation of a drug free zone, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a juvenile and a failure to appear warrant on a charge of criminal neglect of family. No bond was set.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Jasmine Talmore, 26, of Eagle Street, Franklin, Tuesday at 6:28 p.m. on a charge of issuing worthless checks. She was released on a summons.

Chitimacha Police Chief Blaise Smith reported the arrest of a 16-year-old juvenile Tuesday at 7:15 a.m. on charges of disorderly conduct and disobedience of a court order. The juvenile was released to guardians pending juvenile court.
