Louis Williams Jr., 39, of 139 Lloyd Lane, Morgan City, was arrested Monday at 3:44 p.m. on charges of domestic battery, resisting an officer by flight and speeding. No bond was set.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Larry Gene Mendoza Sr., 67, of Freetown Road, Franklin, Monday at 3:57 p.m. on a warrant charging him with simple battery. He was released on $500 bond.
Eugene Lee Green V, 32, of Oak Street, Franklin, was charged Monday at 4:33 p.m. with violation of protective orders. He was already incarcerated in the parish jail and no bond was set.
