St. Mary Parish Mark Hebert reported the following arrests from the past 24-hour reporting period:

Michael Bergeron, 34, of Baton Rouge, was arrested Tuesday at 2:48 p.m. on charges of two counts of aggravated cruelty to an animal after being accused of killing someone else’s kittens in Patterson. Bond had not been set as of this morning.

Shauntell N. Hartdegen, 28, of Schriever was arrested Tuesday at 5:28 p.m. on failure to appear warrants on charges of stop sign violation, no driver’s license, seat belt violation, DWI, hit and run driving and issuing worthless checks. Bond was set at $4,413. 50.

Brandon M. Gaudet, 22, of 422 Chariot Dr., Patterson, was arrested Tuesday at 7:04 p.m. on failure to appear warrants on charges of hit and run driving, driving under suspension, expired inspection sticker, expired license plate, failure to stop, no insurance, careless operation, DWI, stop sign violation and failure to show proof of community service. He also failed to appear to serve a six-month sentence, according to an additional warrant. Bond had not been set as of this morning.

Agents from the sheriff’s Multi-jurisdictional Drug Task reported the following arrests:

Priscilla F. Renthrope, 27, of Solar Apartment 220, Morgan City, and Jeffery L. Williams, 21, of 5528 N. Bayou Black Drive, Gibson, were arrested Tuesday at 12:46 p.m. Renthrope was charged on a warrant with distribution of cocaine and Williams on two warrants with distribution of cocaine. Bond on Renthrope was set as $25,000 and had not yet been set on Williams as of this morning.

Gary I. Ledom, 49, and Tracie R. Hargrave, 41, both of 1414 South Road, Bayou Vista, were arrested Tuesday at 4:33 p.m. Ledom was charged with two counts of illegal possession of prescription drugs and obstruction of justice. Hargrave was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and open alcohol container. Hargrave was released on a summons and Ledom held without bond.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest Tuesday at 9:49 p.m. of Brian Kenneth Henry, 45, of Talbot Street, on a charge of violation of a protective order. Bond had not been set as of this morning.
