Joseph L. Estay III, 42, of 525 Aucoin St., Morgan City was arrested Tuesday at 7:08 a.m. on a charge of second-offense possession of marijuana and released after posting a $5,000 bond.
Geoffrey C. Gilmore, 31, of 2990 Second St., Berwick was arrested Tuesday at 2:49 p.m. on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of issuing worthless checks. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond.
Five men were arrested on warrants Tuesday in connection with an alleged fight that occurred on Eves Street in Jeanerette Monday. Those arrested were Dustin Bobbitt, 19, of 1562 Prairie Road Circle, Centerville; Dallas Brown, 18, of 173 Cherokee St., Charenton; Samuel P. Perry III, 18, of 624 Bigler St., Franklin; Brandon Comeaux, 19, of 400 Elm St., Franklin; and Ozzie L. Savoie, 19, of 103 Firmin St., Franklin. All were charged with simple battery and disturbing the peace by fighting. They were released after posting $750 bonds.
Zachary Lechevalier, 23, of 506 Interlude Road, New Iberia, was arrested Tuesday at 11:45 p.m. on a charge of criminal trespass and released on a summons.
Kevin Armelin, 24, of 401 Ira St., Jeanerette and Shannah Stanton, 26, of 19710 La. 182 W., Jeanerette, were arrested Tuesday at 11:58 p.m. on charges of disturbing the peace by fighting. They were held with bonds set at $250.
Multi-jurisdictional Drug Task Force agents reported the arrest of Nancy Diaz, 25, of 115 La. 663, Bayou L’Ourse, Tuesday 11:59 p.m. on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released on a summons.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests:
Darius Jamal Jackson, 23, of Tupelo Street, Franklin was arrested at 8:31 a.m. on warrants charging him with two counts of failure to appear on charges of criminal neglect of family and simple criminal damage to property under $500. Bond was set at $6,203.33.
Jacqueline Antonia Harvey, 28, of Grandwood Street, Patterson, was arrested Tuesday at 12:10 p.m. on charges of simple battery and resisting an officer by giving false information. She was released after posting a $1,500 bond.
Sterling Jerome Jones, 23, and Lakeidra Lashay Hart, 20, both Main Street, Franklin were arrested Tuesday at 12:46 p.m. on charges of disturbing the peace. Both were released after posting $247.50 cash bonds.
Tyler John Sultan, 20, of Hebert Street, Franklin was arrested Tuesday at 7:22 p.m. on a warrant charging him with aggravated assault. Bond had not been set as of this morning.
Roger Ray Campbell, 21, of Sixth Street, Franklin was arrested Tuesday at 11:14 p.m. on charges of criminal damage to property, criminal trespass and unauthorized entry of a place of business. Bond had not been set as of this morning.
A 12-year-old girl was arrested today on charges of being a runaway and violation of a court ordered curfew. She was released to guardians.
