St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests from the past 24-hour reporting period:

Shal’Jaup Earon Williams, 21, of 312 Ellis St., Patterson, was arrested Thursday at 8:54 a.m. on a warrant charging him with simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling. No bond was set.

Charles Ray Sherman Jr., 56, of 134 Dottie’s Lane, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 9:14 a.m. on a warrant charging him with aggravated incest. He was also charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance. No bond was set.

Rebecca Price, 40, of 515 General MacArthur Drive, Morgan City, was arrested Thursday at 4:23 p.m. on warrants charging her with issuing worthless checks and failure to appear on charges of issuing worthless checks. No bond was set.

Jeremiah Aucoin, 29, of 706 Marshall St., Morgan City, was arrested Thursday at 8:59 p.m. on a charge of open alcohol container. He was released on a summons.

Tanner Belau, 23, of 315 Main St., Patterson, was arrested Thursday at 11:25 p.m. on charges of DWI, improper lane use and open alcohol container. He was held with no bond set.

Kenneth Polk, 54, of 315 Main St., Patterson, was arrested Thursday at 11:25 p.m. on charges of open alcohol container and resisting an officer with force. No bond was set.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Darren Jamal Caffery, 17, of Fifth Street, Franklin, today at 2:39 a.m. on charges of theft of a firearm and possession of marijuana. No bond was set.
