Gregory S. Payne, 37, of 151 Oregon St., Berwick, was arrested Thursday at 11:14 p.m. on a charge of domestic abuse battery. No bond was set.
Jerrel R. Hancock, 22, of Abbeville, was arrested today at 1:42 a.m. on a charge of simple battery. He was held on $500 bond.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Joel Andrew Loustalot, 25, of Cayce Street, Franklin, Thursday at 6:39 a.m. on a charge of simple burglary and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and a warrant charging him with failure to appear on traffic charges. No bond was set.
Shawn Tyrone Jenkins, 35, of Josephine Street, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 9:34 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to register as a sex offender. No bond was set.
Jeremiah Jermain Smith, 20, of Ninth Street, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 12:45 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on traffic charges and was also charged with resisting an officer by flight. He was released on a $265 cash fine and $1,000 bond.
