St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests during the past 24-hour reporting period:

Lucretia Sanders, 27, of 461 Verdun Lane, Verdunville, was arrested Wednesday at 8:34 a.m. on a warrant charging her with issuing worthless checks. She turned herself in and was released on a summons.

Russel K. Mandubourg, 46, of 422 Neptune St., Bayou Vista, was arrested Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. on charges of driving under suspension and a child restraint violation, as well as a failure to appear warrant on charges of speeding and a child restraint violation. No bond was set.

Denny J. Aponte-Albino, 29, of 333 Egle St., Morgan City, was arrested Wednesday at 9:24 p.m. on charges of resisting an officer by giving false information, possession of an alcoholic beverage in a vehicle and no driver’s license. He was released on a $1,500 bond.

Jennifer Elmore, 29, of 1025½ Cayce St., Franklin, was arrested today at 1:08 a.m. on a charge of driving under suspension. She was released on a summons.

Daniel W. Caskey, 27, of 608 General Hodges St., Morgan City, was arrested today at 2:02 a.m. on a charge of driving under suspension. He was released on a summons.

John Gibson, 47, of 104 Oak St., Morgan City, was arrested today at 2:35 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on charges of driving under suspension and following too close. He was held on a $5,000 bond.

Multi-jurisdictional Drug Task Force members reported the arrest of Rene Cothron, 47, of Bayou L’Ourse, Wednesday at 4:33 p.m. on charges of possession of marijuana, cocaine and Lortab, all with intent to distribute, possession of Dolophine and Prednisone and a stop sign violation. No bond was set.

Chitimacha Police Chief Blaise Smith reported the arrest of Orlando Brown, 42, of New Iberia, today at 1:40 a.m. on a warrant charging him with theft. He was arrested by Iberia Parish deputies and turned over to Chitimacha police. No bond was set.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Rachelle Dupre, 28, of Main Street, Franklin, Wednesday at 1:07 p.m. on a bench warrant. She was released after paying a $189 fine.

John Fitch Jr., 29, of Railroad Avenue, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 7:49 p.m. on a charge of possession of a concealed weapon by a convicted felon. No bond was set.

Jonathan Alcina, 27, of Cypress Street, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 7:53 p.m. on charges of switched license plate, no insurance and illegal carrying of a weapon. He was released on a $1,750 bond.
