A fight in the parking lot at Walmart Monday at 9:31 p.m. resulted in the following persons being arrested on and charged with disturbing the peace by fighting:
Mary Jones, 38, of 125 Guzzetta Drive, Berwick; Jessica Thompson, 22, of 416 Southeast Blvd, Bayou Vista; Leondre Green, 20, of 1017 Iberia St., Franklin; Danielle Paul, 17, of 106 Freeman Lane, Patterson and Christine Green, 17, of 1017 Iberia St., Franklin.
All were held with no bond set.
Melynda Leleux, 43, of 1441 Evergreen Avenue, Morgan City, was arrested at 2:20 a.m. today on charges of hit and run and no insurance. She was released on a summons.
Multijurisdictional Drug Task Force members reported the arrest of Jessica Duhon, 29, of Brashear Avenue, Morgan City, Monday at 4:22 p.m. on a charge of possession of Xanax. No bond was set.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Shawn Hyde, 33, of Abbeville, Monday at 9:55 a.m. on an Erath warrant charging him with failure to appear. He was held on $210 bond.
