St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests from the past weekend:

Bruce Fields, 47, of Vidor, Texas, was arrested Friday at 7:58 p.m. on a charge of aggravated obstruction of a highway of commerce. He was released on a $10,000 bond.

Michael MetreJean, 24, of 436 Field St., Bayou Vista, was arrested Friday at 3:51 p.m. on warrants charging him with failure to appear on charges of issuing worthless checks. He turned himself in and was held with no bond set.

A juvenile male, age 15, was arrested Friday at 7:57 p.m. on charges of disturbing the peace by fighting and simple battery. He was released to guardians pending juvenile court.

Barbra Russell, 38, of 6616 La. 182, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 1:10 p.m. on a charge of theft by shoplifting. She was released on a summons.

Chet Williams, 44, of 1212 Red Cypress Road, Patterson, was arrested Saturday at 5:46 p.m. on charges of failure to signal lane change and driving under suspension. He was released on a summons.

Two female juveniles, ages 15 and 16, were arrested Saturday at 6:46 p.m. on charges of theft by shoplifting. They were released to guardians pending juvenile court.

Charles E. Duncan III, 40, of 10908 La. 182, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 3:35 a.m. on a charge of open alcohol container. He was released on a summons.

Archie C. Tardy Jr., 26, of Mesquite, Texas, was arrested today at 10:42 a.m. on charges of speeding, second-offense possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a minor. No bond was set.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Lema Boutte Charles III, 25, of New Iberia, Friday at 11:01 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on traffic charges. He was released on a $563 bond.

William Antoine Peters, 29, of Iberia Street, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 2:03 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on traffic charges. He was turned over to the sheriff’s office.

Christopher Willis, 46, of Lafayette, was arrested Friday at 11:28 p.m. on warrants charging him with two counts of failure to appear. He was released on a $628 bond.

Alfred Jamal Hilliard, 23, of Sixth Street, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 1:49 a.m. on a charge of driving under suspension. He was released on a $1,000 bond.

Sean Trevor Gaspard, 25, of Josephine Street, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 11:36 p.m. on charges of disturbing the peace, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal damage to property over $500. No bond was set.

Annie E. Parker, 54, of Cayce Street, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 8:25 a.m. on a warrant charging her with failure to appear on traffic charges. She was also charged with resisting an officer by giving false information. Parker was held on a $1,264 bond.

Jennifer Marie Elmore, 29, of Cayce Street, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 8:31 a.m. on a warrant charging her with failure to appear on traffic charges. No bond was set.

Terrance Lamyro Brumfield, 18, of 10th Street, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 12:53 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on a charge of criminal trespassing. He was held on a $321 bond.

Jarrod Michael Bowers, 26, of Robertson Street, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 1:58 p.m. on warrants charging him with two counts of failure to appear. He was released on a $521 fine.

James Stewart Jr., 73, of Anderson Street, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 4:30 p.m. on a charge of aggravated assault. He was released on a $1,000 bond.

Bernard Dwayne Jackson, 24, of Anderson Street, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 5:03 p.m. on a charge of aggravated assault. He was released on a $1,000 bond.
