St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests this morning.

After a complaint from Patterson High School, four juveniles were arrested. They reportedly broke into another student’s gym locker and took money. Arrested Friday at 9:32 a.m. was a 16-year-old on charges of theft and criminal damage to property; a 15-year-old on charges of theft and simple criminal damage to property; a 15-year-old on a charge of theft and a 14-year-old on a charge of theft. All were released to guardians pending juvenile court.

Ashton Pugh, 54, of 66 Main St., Franklin, was arrested Friday at 10:05 p.m. on charges of obscenity and criminal trespassing. He was released on $5,500 bond.

Jordan Granger, 23, of 810 Levee Road, No. 12, Morgan City, was arrested Saturday at 3:42 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on charges of simple criminal damage to property and simple battery. He was held on $1,000 bond.

Sean Gammon, 25, of Montz, La., was arrested Saturday at 12:38 p.m. on a St. John the Baptist Parish warrant charging him with driving under suspension. He was released on a summons.

Carl Pierre Keiffer, 41, of 130 Parro Lane, Berwick, was arrested Saturday at 4:31 p.m. on charges of possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was held with no bond set.

Josh Mathis, 25, of Gorgan, La., was arrested Saturday at 6:44 p.m. on charges of domestic abuse battery, simple criminal damage to property, disturbing the peace intoxicated and two counts of resisting an officer with force. No bond was set.

Ernel Reed, 34, of 1012 Weber St., Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 12:43 p.m. on warrants charging him with failure to appear on charges of issuing worthless checks, operating a vehicle without required equipment, switched license plate, expired inspection sticker and operating a vehicle not covered by security. He was held on $3,399 bond.

Corey Mire, 24, of 323 Saturn Road, Bayou Vista, was arrested Sunday at 12:44 a.m. on charges of domestic abuse battery-strangulation, simple criminal damage to property and resisting an officer with force. No bond was set.

Juan R. Torres, 48, of 205 Railroad St., Patterson, was arrested Sunday at 9:19 a.m. on warrants charging him with issuing worthless checks. He was released on a summons.

Leslie Janelle Matthews, 37, of 178 Friendship Alley, Amelia, was arrested Sunday on warrants charging her with probation violation. No bond was set.

Nicole Marie Lodrigues, 28, of 2991 Second St., Berwick, was arrested Sunday on a warrant charging her with issuing worthless checks. She was released on a summons.

Lolette H. Gant, 51, of 702 Scottie St., Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 1:55 p.m. on a warrant charging her with issuing worthless checks. She was released on a summons.

Arthur Jack, 17, of 112 Lincoln St., Baldwin, was arrested Sunday at 8 p.m. on charges of three counts resisting an officer, threatening a public official and disturbing the peace by obscene language. He was held with no bond set.

The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division reported the arrest of Tanya Carter, 34, of 1468 Fairmont Avenue, Bayou Vista, Sunday at 4:47 p.m. on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. She was held on $1,500 bond.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Joseph Paul Demarco, 47, of Eight Mile, Alabama, Sunday at 9:40 p.m. on charges of fourth offense DWI, hit and run, criminal damage to property, criminal damage to state property, obscenity, careless operation, driving left of center and no driver’s license on person. No bond was set.

A 16-year-old female was arrested Saturday on a charge of disturbing the peace by alarming the public.

A 15-year-old female was arrested Sunday on charges of no headlights, no driver’s license and curfew violation.

A 15-year-old male was arrested Sunday and charged with curfew violation.

A 14-year-old female was arrested Sunday and charged with curfew violation.

All were released to guardians pending juvenile court.
