St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division agents reported the arrest of Clifton James Escort Jr., 34, of 510 Greenwood St., Morgan City, Thursday at 8:40 p.m. on a charge of third-offense possession of marijuana and two counts of failure to appear on charges of contempt of court. No bond was set.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Kenneth Smith, 52, of Pine Street, Franklin, Thursday at 2:34 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on a charge of vicious dog ordinance violation. He was held on $297 bond.
Ray Javon Robertson, 23, of St. Martinville, was arrested Thurday at 3:08 p.m. by Jeanerette Police on local warrants charging him with simple assault, simple criminal damage to property and remaining where forbidden. He was released on $8,000 bond.
Patricia Henry, 48, of Talbot Street, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 4:24 p.m. on charges of shoplifting and obstruction of justice. She was released on $2,000 bond.
Henry Chris Bias III, 23, of James Street, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 6:39 p.m. on a warrant charging him with disturbing the peace by fighting. He was released on $250 bond.
