St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests this morning.

Tonya Clements, 25, of 107 Robicheaux Lane, Centerville, and John Finister, 18, same address, were arrested Wednesday at 5:42 p.m. on charges of domestic abuse battery. No bonds were set.

Bryanshekie Harris, 23, of 1211 Second St., Patterson, was arrested Wednesday at 12:53 p.m. and charged with shoplifting and an issuing worthless checks warrant. He was released on a summons.

Devin Parvino, 22, of 702 Onstead St., Morgan City, was arrested Wednesday at 5:11 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on the charge of DWI. No bond was set.

Leslie Mathews, 36, of 178 Friendship Alley, Amelia, was arrested Wednesday at 8:15 p.m. on warrants charging her with issuing worthless checks and altering a prescription. No bond was set.

Robert Beatty, 60, of 100 Stephenson Lane, Apt. 1, Centerville, was arrested Wednesday at 11:39 p.m. on a warrant charging him with disturbing the peace and also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. No bond was set.

Multijurisdictional Drug Task Force members reported the arrest of Darrel Charles Dewey, 23, of 221 Jones St., No. 12, Berwick, Wednesday at 5:29 p.m. on a charge of possession of marijuana and a warrant charging him with failure to appear on charges of possession of marijuana.

Meghan Cheramie, 19, of 221 Jones St., No. 12, Berwick, was arrested Wednesday at 5:39 p.m. on charges of possession of synthetic marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both were held with no bond set.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Jeremiah Smith, 19, of Ninth Street, Franklin, Wednesday at 2:54 p.m. on a warrant charging him with simple battery. He was released on $296 bond.
