The St. Mary Sheriff’s Office made the following arrests overnight according to Sheriff Mark Hebert:

—Christopher Castille, 20, of Nicklaus Street, Berwick, was arrested at home at 7 a.m. Wednesday on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, distribution of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Booked into parish jail with no bond set.

—Rosa Gray, 22, and Bradley Francis, 27, of Meudon Drive, Duson, were arrested at 4:19 p.m. Wednesday for theft of goods valued at $154.72 at the Bayou Vista Wal-Mart. Each released on a summons to appear in court.

The Morgan City Police Department made the following arrests overnight, according to Chief Marc Folse:

—Candice Shivers, 24 of Shivers Street, Patterson, was arrested at 11:28 a.m. Wednesday, charged with driving while intoxicated, careless operation, seat belt violation, failure to report vehicle crash for a vehicle crash that occurred June 16. Posted bond of $2,954 and was released.

—Shirley Gillingham, 45, of Railroad Avenue, Morgan City, arrested at 12:04 a.m. Wednesday on a warrant for open container. Remains incarcerated with bond set at $256.

—Tammy Theriot, 34, of Federal Avenue, Morgan City, arrested at 1:40 p.m. Wednesday, charged with simple battery. Posted bond of $685 and was released.

—Micheal Thibodeaux, 40, of Federal Avenue, Morgan City, arrested at 1:40 p.m. Wednesday for simple battery. Posted bond of $685 and was released.

—Andrew Beard, 32, of Fifth Street, Morgan City, arrested at 10:31 p.m. Wednesday, charged with domestic abuse battery. Incarcerated with no bond yet set.

—Heather Templet, 31, of Red Cypress Street, Patterson, arrested at 10:48 p.m. Wednesday, charged with domestic abuse battery. Incarcerated with no bond set.

—Angel Strickland, 20, of Honey Lane, Morgan City, arrested at 3:15 a.m. today, charged with two counts of simple battery and resisting an officer. Still incarcerated with no bond set.
