Police say driver drunk in fatal Concordia crash

FERRIDAY – State Police alleged a Clayton man was drunk when the car he was driving hit and culvert and rolled over several times, killing his passenger.

Troopers said Henry Reinninger, 53, was driving a GEO Metro west on Boggy Bayou Road about 11 p.m. Friday when he went of the road in a curve,.

The car slid down an embankment, struck the culver, rolled several times and came to rest on its roof. William Robertson, 47, of Ridgecrest was killed.

Both men were wearing seat belts.

Reinninger is charged with DWI 2nd, vehicular homicide and careless operation.
