A private inurnment will be held at a later date for Raymond Comeaux, 74, a native and lifelong resident of Franklin, who passed away Saturday, August 25, 2012, at 4:07 a.m., at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.

Mr. Comeaux was a veteran of the United States Army.

Survivors include two brothers, Roland Comeaux of Blountsville, Alabama and Milton Comeaux of New Iberia; as well as three nieces and four nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joy White Comeaux; his parents, Moise and Mae Boudreaux Comeaux; an infant brother, Morris Comeaux; and a sister, Gayle C. Higgins.
