Raymond Polidore Jr., 55, a resident of the St. Joseph Community, died Tuesday, January 31, 2012, at 11:03 p.m., at his residence.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 7 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin, from 9 a.m. until funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Perpetual Park Cemetery in Franklin.
Raymond leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 36 years, Marjorie Polidore of Franklin; four sons, Raymond Polidore III, Robert Polidore, Ronald Polidore Sr. and Dietrich Hayes, all of New Iberia; two daughters, Tessia Hayes and Alicia Polidore, both of New Iberia; seven brothers, Clarence Polidore, Roosevelt Bolden, Floyd Polidore, Malcolm Polidore, Roman Polidore, Norman Polidore, all of Franklin, and David Polidore of Centerville; five sisters, Elizabeth Jones, Ernestin Vazquez, Wanda Polidore and Gayle Cooks, all of Franklin, and Debra Manuel of Charenton; 12 grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Polidore Sr.; mother, Augustine Bolden; stepfather, Joseph Bolden; and sister, Caroline Radford.
