The Rev. Timothy Boyd Jr., 70, a resident of Franklin and a native of Baldwin, died Monday, August 20, 2012, at 1:28 p.m., at Franklin Foundation Hospital.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Greater St. Stephen Baptist Church from 9 a.m. until funeral service at 11 a.m. Entombment will be in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum.

Rev. Boyd leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Annie Kennon Boyd of Franklin; one son, Timothy Ra-Courtney Boyd of Hammond; three sisters, Elsie Tidwell of Texas City, Texas, Mrs. Margie (Darriel) Wagner of Oaklawn, California and Mrs. Elaine (Attorney Glen) Lazard of Lafayette; and a host of relatives and friends.

Jones Funeral Home of Franklin/ Morgan City/ Jeanerette is in charge of arrangements.
