Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 12, 2011, at 7 p.m., at Ibert’s Mortuary for Robert Gerard McGoff, 48, a New Orleans native and a longtime resident of Franklin, who passed away Thursday, November 9, 2011, at 12:10 a.m. A private burial will be held at a later date. John Malloy will officiate the services.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Wendy Guillotte McGoff of Franklin; one daughter, Tara McGoff Robicheaux and her husband, Tre’, of Bayou Vista; three grandchildren, Drayke, Riley and Lani Robicheaux, all of Bayou Vista; two brothers, Raymond McGoff of Franklin and Richard McGoff and his wife, Mary Lynn, of Sorrell; two sisters, Karen M. Smith and her husband, Blaise, of Franklin and Lea M. Salvador and her husband, Neil, of Franklin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Aaron McGoff and Claire Giroir McGoff; and one great niece, Kailyn Elizabeth Hebert.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, November 12 at Ibert’s Mortuary, from 4:30 p.m. until time of memorial service.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to help alleviate funeral expenses.
