Rogers Anthony Solete Jr., 52, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Franklin, died Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Franklin Foundation Hospital at 2:59 p.m.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 16, at Jones Funeral Home, 715 Sixth St., in Morgan City, from 9 a.m. until funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Home Industrial Cemetery in Patterson.

Rogers leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Juanita M. Jones Solete of Franklin; parents, Stella Sylvester Lewis and his stepfather, Clifton Lewis, of Verdunville; two sons, Gregory Solete and Marcus Solete, both of Houston, Texas; two stepsons, Micheal Petey Jones and D’Marcus Jones, both of Franklin; two daughters, Whitney Solete and Earnesia Solete, both of Houston; two stepdaughters, Shondra Thomas and Shaquanta Jones, both of Franklin; two brothers, Gregory Solete of Patterson, and D’White Scott of Houston; a sister, Tina Vidella Walter of Patterson; one granddaughter; seven step-grandchildren; one godchild; and a host of relatives and friends.

Mr. Solete was preceded in death by his father.
