Ruthie Press, 70, a native of Franklin and resident of New Iberia, died Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Belle Teche Nursing Home in New Iberia, at 3:30 p.m.
Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 13 at Jones Funeral Home in Franklin, from 10 a.m. until funeral service at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in the Charity Cemetery in Franklin.
Ruthie leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Donnie Press Jr. of Franklin; one daughter, Yolanda Wiggins of Franklin; one grandchild, D’Yani Wiggins; a sister, Tracy Wiggins Verdun of Houma; and a host of relatives and friends.
Ruthie was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
