Christopher Paul Bellard, 29, of Haines Road, Rayne was arrested on warrant issued by Investigators with the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office.
According to Acadia Parish Sheriff Wayne Melancon, the arrests stems from a complaint that was filed with his department on October 16, 2011.
Bellard was placed in the Acadia Parish Jail with bond set at $1,000,000 by District Judge John Trahan.
Details of the allegations, including gender of the alleged victim, relationship, if any, to Bellard, where the alleged crime allegedly occurred, etc. were not provided.
