Sarah Sonnier of Franklin All Stars broke pitching records at the Babe Ruth World Series in Andalusia, Alabama recently. She broke the record with most strikeouts in one game with 15, and she later broke her own record with 16 strikeouts in a game. She also broke the most strikeouts in the whole series with 55 strikeouts in 24 innings. She was also named to the 2011 Babe Ruth All World Series Team. Sonnier has been playing softball since she was 8 years old and her parents are Lori and David Sonnier.
